In August we announced that I had been nominated for Scottish Licence Trade News Wine Professional of the Year 2016.

Well, I am extremely proud that I am through to the final 3 and will be attending the award ceremony in Glasgow on the 3rd of November where I will find out the winner, so I have my fingers crossed as this will be a great accolade for us here at the hotel.

Update 14th October:
We also hosted an excellent Wine Dinner last night (Thursday 13th October) showcasing some stunning wines that were all family made, specific to the terrior they are grown in and real treats.

John had as usual put together a lovely menu for me and alongside my good friend Eva Franceschi of Inverarity Morton we hosted the evening.
